You’re invited to join us on Sunday, January 15th at The Union Station hotel for the premiere baseball event of the offseason; the 59th annual Baseball Writers’ Dinner.

  • Commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1967 World Championship team that defeated Boston to win the World Series in seven games
  • Present our highest honor – the Red Schoendienst Medal – to Whitey Herzog for his Hall of Fame career and invaluable service to baseball
  • Present the Lou Brock Award to Jonathan Villar from the Milwaukee Brewers for leading the National League in stolen bases
  • Honor the top players of the 2016 St. Louis Cardinals

Don’t miss the capstone baseball event of the winter. The St. Louis Baseball Writers’ Dinner is a St. Louis tradition. It’s the perfect night for fans to enjoy players and management in a relaxed setting where they share stories of the past season and get you pumped up for the season to follow. It’s a night of baseball that you and your family will never forget.

The 2017 Dinner will be our 59th annual gala and is organized as a benefit to raise money for journalism and communications scholarships at regional universities and a summer internship at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
